The original Antique is Cornerstone Music Gear's take on the classic Tube Screamer-style overdrive sound, offering a defined midrange and touch-sensitive response while expanding the traditional formula with additional tone-shaping controls. It can cover bluesy low-gain drive, pushed rhythm sounds and smooth lead tones while retaining a dynamic, amp-like feel.

In addition to the familiar Gain and Volume controls, the Antique V1 provides separate Tone and Presence controls plus Mids and Comp switches. The Mids switch changes the overall midrange response, while the Comp switch adjusts the pedal's dynamic response, giving the player considerably more control than a traditional Screamer-style circuit.
