The AX20 is an affordable take on the Music Man Axis platform, combining the compact, contoured body shape and asymmetrical neck feel with a versatile dual-humbucker layout. Its basswood body is topped with a quilted maple veneer, while the maple neck and rosewood fingerboard provide a smooth, familiar playing feel.
A pair of Sterling A5 Zebra humbuckers delivers warm, powerful tones with strong sustain, while the 5-way selector expands the available sounds beyond a typical two-humbucker guitar by adding split and parallel-style combinations. The hardtail string-through-body bridge and locking tuners provide solid tuning stability and a direct, resonant feel.
