The Cowboy King takes the classic 1980s Screamer-style overdrive concept and pushes it toward a bigger, clearer and more powerful voice. Compared with a traditional mid-hump overdrive, it is designed for more clarity, gain and output with a thick, woody character that works especially well for blues and Texas-style drive tones.
Simple Volume, Drive and Tone controls make it easy to dial in everything from smooth, pushed-amp sounds to more aggressive lead tones while retaining definition in the mix.
