The Manticore V2 is a versatile boutique overdrive, clean boost and amp-enhancer designed by Scotty Smith. Its expanded dynamic range and interactive gain structure let it move from a sparkling always-on boost and low-gain drive to crunchy rhythm sounds, smooth lead tones and much heavier saturation while retaining clarity and touch response.

Version 2 adds the Savage control, a low-pass/bass circuit that adds gain, punch and low-end weight, along with electronic true-bypass soft switching. The five controls provide unusually detailed shaping of the pedal's gain and EQ response.
