The THD Hot Plate Power Attenuator is designed to let you push your tube amp into its sweet spot while controlling overall volume.

Built specifically for use with 16 ohm amplifiers, it allows you to achieve natural power tube saturation without excessive stage volume. This makes it ideal for both live performance and studio use where volume control is critical.

The Hot Plate uses a reactive load design that preserves the tone and feel of your amplifier more accurately than simple resistive attenuators. It also includes a Bright and Deep switch to compensate for tonal changes at lower volume levels.

In addition to attenuation, it features a load function for silent operation, along with a line out for recording or re-amping applications.
