The Yamaha FG7MX combines Yamaha’s Japan-crafted FG7 construction with an Atmosfeel pickup system for natural amplified performance. A solid Sitka spruce top with scalloped X-bracing is paired with solid African mahogany back and sides, producing a warm, focused acoustic voice with clear mids and excellent response to both strumming and fingerstyle playing.
The one-piece African mahogany neck features a rounded V profile, complemented by an ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, and Gotoh SXN510 open-gear tuners. Yamaha’s Atmosfeel system captures the guitar’s natural character for stage and studio use while keeping the controls discreet. A hardshell case is included.
