The Yamaha FS7MX combines the compact concert-size body of the Japan-crafted FS7 with Yamaha’s Atmosfeel pickup system for natural amplified performance. Its solid Sitka spruce top with scalloped X-bracing is paired with solid African mahogany back and sides, delivering a warm, focused acoustic voice with clear mids, quick response and excellent definition for fingerstyle and lighter strumming.
The one-piece African mahogany neck features a rounded V profile, complemented by an ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, and Gotoh SXN510 open-gear tuners. Yamaha’s Atmosfeel system captures the guitar’s natural character for stage and studio use while keeping the controls discreet. A hardshell case is included.
