At Zedem, we are aware that music education should be creative, dynamic, and fun. That's why we offer a variety of courses and activities.
We have our classic course, the private lessons. With durations of 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1 hour per week, this type of lesson is suitable for anyone seeking a more personalized learning experience. These lessons are fully tailored to your interests, skill level, and learning pace.
Our group lessons, on the other hand, are designed for those who prefer to learn in a more social setting. Spanning a session of 12 to 14 lessons, this option is particularly popular among musicians who want to share their passion with others at a similar level. Currently, we offer ukulele, guitar, music initiation, and vocal ensemble courses in this format.
Our annual performances are open to all our students, with two regular shows in December and June. They provide an excellent opportunity for our students to showcase the pieces they've diligently worked on for months. It serves as a gateway to the stage, supported by a dedicated team of teachers.
Our specialized activities, such as Bandcamp, Studio Bandcamp, and Rock Camp, are among the most enriching experiences for budding musicians. It's a chance for instrumentalists of all kinds to come together and play in a group, guided by experienced teachers who excel in both teaching and stage presence. These activities are spread throughout the year and conclude with a studio recording or a live performance.
Our masterclasses are presented as sporadic events. They are the perfect opportunity to address your most specific questions. Whether it's learning to build your own pedalboard, exploring the nuances of improvisation, or deepening your knowledge of musical styles, our guests, with their years of experience in the Quebec music scene, will share their expertise in an intimate setting.
Our team of over 25 instructors is ready to welcome you at one of our three branches. Open to both young and old, beginners and experts, Zedem takes pride in contributing to the musical journey of many musicians for over a decade.
