The Fusion 5 features a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides for a stellar blending of pristine highs, balanced mids, and rich low end. A mahogany neck with pau ferro fingerboard offers incredible playability and smooth response, and a deep cutaway gives you easy access to those harder-to-reach notes up the neck. And when you're ready to plug in, a Fishman Sonitone Pickup System delivers gorgeous amplified acoustic tone.

The Fishman Sonitone pickup system inside the Fusion 5 includes an Undersaddle Piezo that delivers impeccable, authentic, high-output amplification for the stage and studio. And for unique access, the Sonitone puts the volume and tone controls directly and discreetly in the soundhole.

Neck designed for comfort

To make the transition from standard steel string to classical a little easier, Cordoba designed the Fusion neck with a 16-inch radius fretboard and smaller, 1-7/8-inch nut width. The result is a feel that is close to that of a standard steel string, while providing a genuine classical guitar experience.
