The Triangle Big Muff Pi is Electro-Harmonix's faithful re-creation of the original Version 1 Big Muff circuit from circa 1969. Named for the triangular layout of its three controls, this modern reissue delivers the smooth, sustaining fuzz character of the original design in a compact, pedalboard-friendly die-cast enclosure.
The classic three-control layout keeps operation simple: Volume sets the output level, Sustain controls the amount of sustain and distortion, and Tone ranges from deep bass to bright treble. Modern conveniences include true-bypass switching and an effect-status LED.
