The Electro-Voice EVID 4.2TW is a pair of passive two-way surface-mount loudspeakers designed for distributed audio, background and foreground music, paging and sound reinforcement installations. The white, paintable enclosures combine two 4-inch low-frequency drivers with a 1-inch high-frequency driver for wide, even coverage and a frequency range extending from 65 Hz to 20 kHz.

The transformer-equipped EVID 4.2TW supports 70 V and 100 V distributed systems with selectable power taps, along with an 8-ohm bypass. Its weather-resistant ABS enclosure, integrated mounting system and wide 120° × 80° coverage make it suitable for a broad range of indoor and outdoor commercial installations.
