The OCD V2 delivers the open, dynamic overdrive and distortion character that made the OCD a modern classic, with strong note separation, a tight low end and excellent headroom. Its MOSFET hard-clipping circuit is highly responsive to picking dynamics and works well with both single-coil and humbucking pickups.

Compared with earlier OCD revisions, the V2 adds a Class A discrete 2N5457 JFET input section with 1MΩ input impedance, an output buffer, and an internal switch that lets you choose between Fulltone Enhanced Bypass and traditional True Bypass. These changes improve consistency in larger pedalboards while retaining the touch-sensitive feel of the original circuit.
