Schecter Hellraiser C VI Black Cherry

Tuned one octave below standard tuning, the Schecter 184-SHC HELLRAISER C-VI Electric Guitar is an improvement over the 6-string bass of the early '60s.

This model features a set neck for added sustain and durability. The C-VI is the perfect instrument for guitarists who want to add depth to their sonic arsenal. With its 30" scale, it can be strummed like a guitar or plucked like a bass. EMG Active 81/89R Pickups with coil-tapping and 3-way switch are on board to offer a wide variety of humbucker and single-coil type tones.The contoured mahogany body is topped with a fine layer of Quilted maple for added beauty and tone. A TonePros bridge and Schecter locking tuners permit perfect intonation and accurate tuning.

Schecter Locking Tuners
Schecter Locking Tuners feature a locking screw pin to lock the string into place for greater tuning stability. Details include a 19:1 gear ratio allowing for precise fine tuning adjustments, removable knobs, threaded peghead bushing, and a 10mm diameter peg hole.

Rosewood Finger Board
The most common fretboard, Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is richer in fundamental than Maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.

EMG Active 81tw/89R Pickups
Bridge: The 81TW dual-mode design allows for maximum flexibility, with the original 81 providing all the crunch and aggressiveness it's famous for and an all new single-coil that features a fatter tone with plenty of punch and clarity. Neck: The EMG 89 is loaded with alnico V magnets and has separate preamps each providing custom outputs for both dual coil and single coil modes (R Version use REAR coil ). In dual coil mode, the sound is rich, warm and powerful, but still very clear and is similar.

3-pc Mahogany w/Carbon Fiber Rods Neck
Made with 3 pieces of mahogany for extra stability. Where standard necks may show aging defects throughout the years, the 3 piece neck will remain straight for a lifetime of playability. Two Carbon Fiber Rods are installed next to the Truss Rod for extra stability. Stronger than an equivalent volume of steel, Carbon Fiber can supplement an adjustable truss rod to help prevent neck twisting. Carbon Fiber adds little weight, but adds significant stiffness.
