The Schecter Robert Smith RS-1000 Busker Acoustic features a stylish gloss black finish with a white and black star on the body, creating a stunning look worthy of Robert Smith.

A solid spruce top and mahogany body deliver classic acoustic tones, with the spruce adding plenty of warmth to the mahogany's complex tone. The mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard work well together, adding complexity to the high end while keeping the lows thick and creamy. As a collaboration between Schecter and The Cure's Robert Smith, the RS-1000 Bucker is a beauty to behold, delivering incredible style and tones worthy of sporting both names on the headstock.

Spruce Top, Mahogany Back and Sides
The Signature Acoustic Guitar features a top made from spruce, and back and side panels crafted from high quality mahogany. The spruce top offers a broad, dynamic tone with a crisp feel to it, providing a powerful sound. Producing little overtone, the spruce can retain its clarity no matter how hard the guitar is played. With mahogany used for the back and side panels, the guitar produces warm, soft tones with a good balance of grind and bite where needed. Offering plenty of depth and punch to the guitars tone, the mahogany helps to emphasise the Schecter's midrange, providing a dark tone.

Mahogany Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard
The mahogany neck produces a fat, warm tone with a mellow feel whilst also offering an incredible sustain. The rosewood fingerboard adds to the guitar's warmth whilst softening up the sound and giving it a natural feel. The mahogany and rosewood combination offers complex highs, thick, creamy lows, and an appealing midrange.

The Cure's Robert Smith
Born April 1959, Robert Smith is an English singer, songwriter, musician most recognisable as the lead singer and guitarist of The Cure. Being born into a musical family, Robert first learnt to play the piano before moving onto the guitar at a young age. While in school Robert formed a band with his brother and some friends, before moving to another school and formed The Obelisk, the early incarnation of The Cure. Robert Smith is known for his simplistic yet atmospheric guitar playing, choosing effects and sound over technique and purposefully detuning the top E of his guitar.
