The Yamaha FG7R is a premium Japan-crafted acoustic guitar built for players seeking powerful projection, clarity and a rich harmonic response. Its solid Sitka spruce top with scalloped X-bracing is paired with solid Indian rosewood back and sides, delivering a broad frequency range with deep lows, articulate highs and complex overtones.
A one-piece African mahogany neck with a rounded V profile offers a comfortable, traditional playing feel. Premium appointments include an ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, Gotoh SXN510 open-gear tuners and refined Japanese-inspired detailing. A hardshell case is included.
